80 percent Hall Effect board with Lekker L60 V2 (or L45) switches, gasket mount, polycarbonate plate, true 8 kHz Tachyon mode, Rapid Trigger, analog, SOCD tools, hot-swap HE, PCR plastic or zinc case. Why it is the default in 2026
June 2026 ProSettings summer snapshot had 80HE first overall (~17%). August CS2 tracking has it first by a wide margin. That is not a blogger narrative. Rapid Trigger plus a layout people can work on is the product. 60HE started the war. 80HE is the daily driver.
Trade-offs public reviews actually mention
PCR case flex. Spacebar rattle on some units. Silicone feet collect dust. Wired only. Digital Trends argued the price was hard to justify in 2024; by 2026 the pro-share argument is stronger than the dollar argument. Zinc (~$290) is for sound, not for a measurable click advantage.
Verdict
4.7 / 5 as the Hall Effect board we would send a competitive player who still wants arrows. Not because we clicked every Lekker in a lab — because the public record, the software, and the layout line up. Compare 60HE v2 and Huntsman V3 Pro TKL before you order two.
